Mayor Daley Blames Fort Hood on Love of Guns

I am sure everyone is aware of the Fort Hood Shooting that Killed 13 Soldiers and wounded another 31 last week. First let us offer our thoughts and prayers to the wounded as well as our condolences to the fallen heroes and their families.

All Second Amendment supporters and activists have known that this day was coming. The day where they start to blame the Fort Hood tragedy on a firearm rather than on the person committing the act. But this went a little further than that. Not only did Chicago Mayor blame the gun, but in the same breath he blamed the incident on America's love for guns.

“Unfortunately, America loves Guns. We love guns to a point where that uh we see devastation on a daily basis. You don’t blame a group.”

We as gun owners or rather gun lovers need to be on the watch for these kinds of comments. Its these kinds of comments that end up being put to legislation for gun bans. Guns are not the problem as all of you guys know. I am absolutely certain that a gun cannot fire upon someone unless it is physically provoked by a human touch.
